Regulation
Professional Standards Authority
Oversees the work of statutory regulators such as the General Medical Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council etc. Also accredits registers for non-statutory professional bodies, including the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, UK Council for Psychotherapy and British Psychoanalytic Council.
