“I mean how dare they go on strike when they’ve got these gilt-edged pensions that are going to be guaranteed while the rest of us have to work for a living.”
You know what, I think I may have something in common with Jeremy Clarkson. I’m incensed that certain public sector workers are creaming in a privileged lifestyle for their cushy non-jobs, building their little nest eggs at the expense of you and me. I mean, take a look at this guy.
Jeremy Clarkson has sparked controversy after it was revealed that he had pocketed another £830,00 from Top Gear in addition to his estimated £1million BBC salary.
The TV presenter has cashed in on a lucrative deal with bosses, allowing him to make money from merchandising and overseas sales bearing the Top Gear brand.
Yep, that’s our money he’s lining his pockets with, for a job that involves little more than faffing around with cars. You couldn’t make it up.
That said, I have no problem with Mr Clarkson exercising his democratic right to go on strike.
Seriously, Jeremy, do go on strike. Take as long as you want. Seriously. Then take a bit longer.
who on earth needs to earn 1 million per year, he will have more money than he could ever spend. Nurses, health care assistants and social workers are poorly paid for what they do and have to deal with more stress than he could imagine
Clarkson is a clown who appeals to the masses. He knows nothing and really doesn’t matter. I think (I can’t be bothered to watch it) the joke is meant to be that he went on at length about the BBC’s duty to be impartial before launching into his rant.
